Design and Planning

During this phase, my compensation is typically calculated utilizing the hourly rate. I will track my billable time and disclose my hours spent on your project on a regular basis, typically whenever we are meeting to discuss the progress on your home design.

Of course, before even starting Phase 2, I will have disclosed my ballpark estimate on the anticipated allotted time (sum of estimated hours per room/ space up until the completion of Phase 2). I will not exceed that estimate without my client’s expressed written consent, though the goal would be to not exceed this estimate to begin with.

A deposit of 50% of this anticipated design fee would be due prior to starting this phase, with future scheduled payments due at the 75% and 100% mark of completion of this phase.
