My name is Nicole Sheyko. I was born in Germany, then moved in 2000 to Chapel Hill, NC where I still live now with my family. It is a wonderful area to raise a family with great schools, excellent hospitals and not one, but 3 top colleges. Beautiful beaches and breathtaking mountains are nearby. It was an absolute no brainer why we wanted to stay.

I spent the majority of my life working in the medical field, as a physician and later on as a Paramedic (yes, in that order!). I always loved Real Estate and was inspired by the idea of transforming places into beautiful, functional, and comfortable homes. Over the many years, I experienced first hand the various processes and stages of Interior Design, to include full scale remodeling, renovating, and staging when selling a home, then starting all over again. I am well versed with the challenges, frustration, and excitement that seems to come hand in hand while doing so, no matter how well things are planned. But in the end, I am happy to say that each project was worth it and to me, that is all that counts.

At this stage in my life, I find myself lucky enough to be able to take a step back from working exclusively in the medical field, and now being able to pursue a full time career in Interior Design. Sharing what I have learned and helping other homeowners create their dream home while avoiding major pitfalls and financial losses is extremely rewarding and fun for me. Since I lived in Germany and traveled through Europe prior to moving to the US, I frequently incorporate a more European Design style into my personal projects as well as my work. I also approach space planning and the overall flow and functionality a little bit differently.
